Quantum Industry Canada (QIC), the national industry-led consortium dedicated to advancing Canada’s quantum technology sector, announced today the addition of three organizations that strengthen crucial links in Canada’s quantum value chain. ACA TMetrix, the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics bring distinct capabilities that enrich Canada’s quantum landscape and expand QIC’s collaborative reach.

The newest QIC members and affiliates include: Equal1: Headquartered in Ireland with offices in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Equal1 is building scalable compact rack-mounted quantum computers, underpinned by its UnityQ processors, the world’s first hybrid quantum-classical computing chip. PINQ²: PINQ², the Quebec Digital and Quantum Innovation Platform, supports companies, SMEs, and start-ups by helping them de-risk their digital transformation while supporting their innovations.
